The ballad of El Goodo - Counting Crows

Here is your blogger / traveller reporting from somewhere in Latvia, north of Riga, which is my next destination. I am (supposedly) towards the end of my bus transfer from Tallinn and after plenty of conifers, rivers and grey clouds I stopped looking outside! The weather has turned bad and it's not expected to improve before I leave Riga in a couple of days, so hurray for me and for my rainy visiting! More news on my adventures soon, in the meanwhile enjoy the beginning of Euro 2016!

Milan is always a great city to spend a good day in. Even if it's pouring rain and you have optimistically got out of home in your Vans and almost took your sunglasses with you just to be completely and utterly soaked 50 steps out of home. It's a great place where to spend time with your friends, where to buy entire collections of manga, where to eat random ice-creams, where to take amazing (random) pictures of the apocalyptic sky. It's amazing even when its weather behaves as if it was an English city. Of course it's a great city where to walk around, headphones on, dancing as if nobody's looking. Except when it's raining. Oops!

Meet on the ledge - Counting Crows

I had started listening to the Counting Crows in 2013, after they were mentioned in the "Social history of pop/rock music"extracurricular course I was following in University, and I didn't dislike their first album, while their second bored me a little bit. Loads of (good) music has been coming in in the meanwhile and I just got to approach their 2012 album, which has given me the impression of being more lively and enjoyable after a few listens! We'll see how it goes with the whole album, with this one (I just found out it's a cover of a 1969 song) it's going really well for now!
