I was looking for the post I made of this song to share it on Facebook and... I just found out I haven't posted it yet! Oh goodness, how ashamed can one be...?! Anyway, I'm just out of watching my first weekly live of this year's X Factor Italy and I must say that, even if the singers are good, I've not been particularly impressed by nor felt any strong connection with any of them. The band who played last did a cover of this song and, well... of course matching Hannah's voice is quite impossible, but they didn't do a bad job. Notwithstanding that they've been sent home, while many others have done worse imho. All of this just to say that I've been having this song in my head all night and, well... the fact that I hadn't posted it yet is just yet another proof that there are forces we can't see nor understand that govern our lives! Hey there folks! It's being a tough but somewhat rewarding week here in Bangkok, as little sleep as I ever got in my life methinks, but I still didn't fall asleep in the office, which is good! I'm trying to enjoy my time here too and it's going quite well, now I need to get back into my routine a little though, take care of my daily tasks, blog included. Tomorrow is the last working day and we organized / are organizing a trip for the weekend, will update you soon about that! GRADUATED!!! With the best score! I'm so happy and proud, it's been a great day! So many people I care about and love around me to share this moment with me, so much stress and everything but everything went great and I couldn't be happier! It really is an unforgettable day! But not everything revolves around me...! Last night there has been the final of this year's X Factor and, if the winner was the announced teen idol, I noticed a few very interesting singers I started liking a lot! One of my favourites is Ilaria, a young girl (16 years old!) from Tuscany, and this is her own song. She finished third, so a good result, I hope she will have a long and great career in music!

Today I have bought tow more CDs for my collection (used and refurbished CDs at 1£ were an irresistible temptation, I'm actually surprised I didn't buy more of them!) and I realised that I still hadn't unpacked (they were wrapped actually), opened and checked out the two I bought last weekend. So I did! And among these two there is the one this song comes from. And, still aware of all of its trashiness, I couldn't help recalling the good moments we spent together and the liking I've always had for it. So here it is! I hope you'll forgive me (hey, oh oh). I forgot my blog again, shame on me! In the last few days I have been at home and I have been somehow following the final days of the Italian X Factor 2013, where Mika was playing the role of a judge + we have watched an old concert of his broadcasted on sky + he held a conference at my university I wasn't able to attend (damn me), so today (even if it counts for yesterday) I'll give you one of my (probably my most) favourite song of his. Intimate colours - Nathalie

New concert tonight! Today is the turn of Nathalie, the Italo-Belgian singer/songwriter I already introduced you to a few days ago. I have seen her with a couple of friends two years ago and it's been a very nice gig! Tonight my friend G. is coming with me again, and even though we both are not really keen on her new work, we hope we'll be able to enjoy the show anyway! This is one of my favs out of her first album. Enjoy your night!
