Hello dear readers, sorry for being away from the blog again, I’ve taken a 20-some hours trip to Milan to celebrate a friend’s birthday and I took the chance to say goodbye to some people I might not be seeing for a good amount of time. I can’t complain about goodbyes as the life I’ve chosen for myself in this time of my life is not one of stability, so goodbyes have to be part of the game! The idea of not having close people around might be hard, but as of now I am more excited and eager to go explore, meet new people and stuff! New music is on my to-do list too of course, but today it’s Sunday so it’s time to look back, and what better looking back than one of my favourite songs by the singer whose music was on my mind when I got up this morning?!

Hello guys, I know I've been silent for the past few days, I have been quite busy with a weekend trip in Florence! Finally when meeting foreigners and telling them I am from Italy and having them tell me how nice Italy is, and that they've been to Rome, Florence, Venice... I won't feel ashamed anymore! It really looks like I'm gonna have to drop my line "You've seen more Italy than I did!", even if this keeps probably being true for many lovers of our country coming from abroad. Music has been present in my weekend of course, but just while travelling and while chilling on Saturday night, and of course this morning while driving to work. And I'm actually taking inspiration from this last moment, posting a song I've just listened to, one that always reminds me of my last year of high school, as I kept getting it play on the radio while I drove to school at that time of my life....

Today I'm late for my post agaaain! But I'm here before midnight, it's already an improvement! I had something in mind but it wouldn't be a good fit for a sundayrevival post, so I had to find something else suitable enough! And, given that I started listening to my summer (actually "Eté") playlist that I've been building up over the years, it makes perfect sense to pick from there!
I should be in Milan in this exact moment, but, after a very pleasant day in the countryside at my grandma's enjoying the sun, I surrendered to the huge traffic and decided I would wait a few more hours to get there! So here I am, (kind of) burned face, first (disappointing) Italian ice-cream of the season in my belly, talked pleasantly with one of my bests and ready to see more of my dear ones tomorrow! In the meanwhile... start dancing with Madonna!

A double post is on the way for you tonight! I don't know if I'm gonna be able to find the time to post both of the songs for real, so let's start with one and we'll see. It's friday, another working week is over (for most of us) and it's time to partyyy!
