Tonight after dinner I found myself with this song on my mind, don't know why or where it came from, but it did and I couldn't get it out (still can't)! I am still feeling weird, this afternoon I decided to take a nap just before 4 PM as I was feeling tired and a bit sleepy and I woke up at past 8 PM...! Not that I've been sleeping little in the last couple of nights, as collapsing in bed around 11 PM, I never woke up before 8 and got up before 10 in the morning! I guess I really have been taking a toll on my body during my Japanese trip, but I hope the rest I got in these two days has been enough, as I'm ready to get going again tomorrow (for a shorter trip anyway)!!

I know I am incredibly late in posting the good music I'm currently listening to, but I have to take another deviation. Riding on the way of my recent purchase of CDs on Amazon (their delivery is due soon!), amongst which there is Lorde's debut, I wanted to post something of hers, as I am currently unable to move past 'A world alone' after listening to the whole 'Pure heroine'. I noticed that there are still a few great tunes that haven't found room on the blog yet, so I'm gonna put remedy immediately! Tough day today! Got to the hospital early in the morning (too early for my sleeping time, I got something like 3 hours of sleep) to have my wisdom teeth removed. All of them. Yay! Luckily enough I've been the first one in of the three people that were there, so soon into the operating room, and soon out, around lunchtime. It's not been very comfortable since that, with ice on my cheeks (especially on the left one, that damn bastard below that caused all this fuss), no eating, no sleeping... well the worst part of it all has been all the blood flooding from the stitched up cuts, now I feel like a real vampire and I'm not sure I'm glad about it! Finally I got home in the afternoon, took a nice sleep until now and also the blood is starting to stop flooding. Guess that the next thing I need to "worry about" is the balloon face that I'm gonna get in the next few days, but... there's nothing I can do! The weirdest thing is that they warned me I could have had a few problems with lips sensitivity as one of the teeth was close to the nerve; yet what I got since I came out of the operating room is a tingling in my left pinkie... hope it's gonna turn out well!

I guess you can say I feel good again by the fact that my posting has trespassed yet again, this time not only the limit of the 24h solar day, but also of the month! Screw that, posting at this time is the best, even if it gets less interaction, it's more genuine, it's me at my most active! Well, maybe not really...! Now I'm feeling quite sleepy... but I know what to post, I've been knowing for a while and, well... it's one of these awesome times in life when all pieces of the puzzle fall into their place! I think I've been telling myself at least 3 or 4 times: "Hey, come on! You didn't even post Yellow flicker beat yet! It's well about time..." and well, today is just about time. Perfection stemmed from the fact that I have just finished (re)-watching Catching fire with my friend E, so what better moment? (Keep into account that I have created the fourth playlist since this song came to me, so it waited quite a while!)

I've been holding on to this song for a couple of days and finally its time has come! It's been a while since I last posted Lorde and sincerely I thought I posted more songs of her than I actually did, I repent and I will make up for it! I really liked her debut album, it's been one of the (many) highlights of this past summer in music, that has been pretty satisfying for me, with both brand new stuff and slightly older debuts such this that I approached with a little delay but, as we say in Italy, better late than never!

This thesis is sucking all the energies out of me, but at least I'm feeling good about how it is turning out! Just think that a few minuted ago I closed the file and I surprisingly realised I am in my hometown and not in Milan anymore (I just drove back home a couple hours ago). I am really drained but happy! And also doubtful. I'm listening to Lana del Rey but, come on, I already posted so much good stuff of hers! I'd have more, but for this time I think I'll stick to my current playlist, which I also deeply love, and post one that I was singing out loud with rapture (even if I don't know the words, thanks goodness there is a mumbling motive in the background)!!

I have been obsessed with this song for the past few days (as you might have understood by the pic I posted last night)! I am slowly getting into the Lorde state of mind and, well, I am really liking her debut album. This song in particular has stuck with me, even more than Royals, I don't know why and, even more importantly, I don't remember where I had heard it (but I knew it already when I first listened to it), anyway it doesn't matter now, it's what I'm sharing with you with the utmost certainty that you're gonna love it! Hello people, hope your easter weekend has started in the best way possible! I'm on my way to London (goodness bless wifi on buses) enjoying my trip and waiting to meet my parents after 3 months. It is finally the chance for me to review my relationship with London, a city that I've never particularly liked (even though I only spent an afternoon there) and that everybody (well, almost) has been telling me great things about. So here I am, with an open mind and trained legs ready to roam around for a few days! I hope I will be able to post daily, hopefully at night, as I didn't prepare anything for you in advance. Carpe diem, as they say!

For now, I'll just leave you with the song that just started playing on my iPod. I've actually been into the various versions of this song I know for the last couple of weeks: the original has been playing in the office, Patti Smith's is the first one I've listened to (and liked), this is the one I'm listening to the most lately, so here it is: go and find your way to rule the world!
